Fulani herdsmen: Afenifere call on Yorubas to activate traditional self-defence

Worried by spate of attacks allegedly being carried out by Fulani herdsmen in the South West part of the country, pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has called on the people of the zone to activate the traditional self-defence system. In a communiqué issued at the end of a meeting of the group held at the residence of its leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, on Monday, Afenifere frowned over Federal Government’s pampering of the marauders.
