A staff of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Abayomi Adigun, has been reported dead after being allegedly stabbed by suspected one-chance operators in Abuja. The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has opposed the proposed cultural exchange programme between Nigerian and South African youths to address xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and promote unity between the two countries. A Police Inspector identified as Clement and attached to the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) is dead. Clement died when the vehicle he and his colleagues were traveling in had a lone accident on Wukari Road in Ibi, Taraba State.
