Thursday, November 19, 2020 inside the Chairman’s Chamber, Ajeromi-Ifelodun Council Secretariat, Draws for the much talked about Ajegunle Street Soccer tagged “Peace Cup” was held with the participating teams in attendance.

The highest paying soccer competition ever held in Ajegunle will feature 24 Streets from all the communities in Ajegunle.

The Draws that had the Supervisory Councilor for Agric, Youth and Sports, Hon. Israel Adejumoh in attendance, was supervised by the DG Sports, Ajeromi-Ifelodun Sports Council and Ex-international, Peter Nieketein who is the Technical Director of the Sports Council and Ganagana Efe Felix who happens to be the Chairman of the Football Council would be played on a home and away basis, with the first leg scheduled to hold this weekend.

First off the pot was Babani Street that will be squaring up against Salami Street. The game is slated for 2:00pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the prestigious Odion Ighalo 02 Arena. The Opening Ceremony will however take place by 4:00pm same day with Muyibi Street trying Aiyetoro for size.
